Our Exceptional Staff

It is my opinion that the staff at the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center is the best trained in the world. They are all Certified Dental Assistants with expanded duty certicication and radiological certification and they received training at the best dental assisting schools in the country. The Hygienist are extremely gentle and take pride in understanding the need of every patient. Additionally, the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center is a state certified "internship training facility". As a result we have the advantage of hand picking those students who are simply the best of the best. It isn't often we need to hire new people as you will see below, but when we do we don't compromise.

CINDY BALL ,CDA Cindy Ball has been an Assisatant for 26 years. Her last 14 years has been with the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center. She is originally from New York and has been in Florida since 1986. She has two boys both of which are excellent athletes. She is also active in a local "Harley" motorcycle group that provides fund raising for underpriviliged children in Manatee County, Florida. Cindy's second office position is "Office Coordinator". Just ask anyone, she is a dynamite coordinator. Cindy also shares the title of Prmary Trainer with Denise Collier. They both can take a novice assistant right out of school and make them very valuable to a dental practice.
	DENISE COLLIER, CDA Denise Collier has been an Assistant for 25 years. She graduated from Manatee Vocational Technical Institute with certificates in Radiology and Expanded Duties. She was hired by Dr. Alford right out of school and is also has many additional responsibilities at the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center. She is chief Implant assiistant, Inventory Control specialist and Prrimary Student Trainer. She has two young boys and enjoys going on family camping trips with her husband Fire Chief Samuel Collier and children. She and Sam are FOSTER PARENTS and have had over 26 children in their home.
DEBBIE GEIGER, RDH Debbie Geiger is an original Florida Cracker. She is a full time DENTAL HYGIENIST and has been with Dr. Alford since 1989. Her husband is PGA Golf Professional and she has two children. Debbie specializes in being the BEST GRANDMOTHER in the world to her 4 grandchildren, soon to be 5.
	PATTY HOCKER, RDH Patty Hocker is originally from Indiana but has lived in Florida for 30 years. She has been with the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center since October 1994. She is married to Bill Hocker and has two boys. Her oldest son has graduated from Florida State University and her youngest son is attending college with a passion for music production. Pattyy's husband Bill is a world renown Paramotor Pilot having been a principle developer of the first 5 world paramotoring conventions. Patty is an avid reader and loves to travel. She and her husband support foreign exchange students from Germany and each year they take a trip to visit the families of the children that have stayed in their home.
Debbie Arnold Business Secretary Debbie Arnold was born in New Jersey but she and her family have lived in Florida for over 30 years. Before coming to the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center she spent 15 years in Retail business management and customer service. She attended and completed the D.A.T.S. training program to gain the complex knowledge necessary in the field of dentistry. She has 2 children , enjoys gardening in her yard and going to Flea markets and finding great bargins.
	Elberto Inocente, Neuromuscular Therapist Elberto Inocente was born in the Philippines and decided to come to the United States and become an American Citizen. In 2009 he realized his dream and is now a very proud AMERICAN. He has a son that is a straight A student who has received multiple academic awards in a very competitive enviornment. Elbert is an expert in Deep Tissue Massage, sports related neuromuscular massage, injury rehabilitation, Lymphatic Drainage, Refloxology and Traditional Oriental Massage.
Svetlana Simakov, Accounting and Language Specialist Svetlana Simakov joined our team in 2007. She was born in Russia is married and has a very athletic family. Prior to leaving Russia her husband, Vlad, played Soccer on the world ranked Russian National Team. Her son is also an outstanding athlete. He attends the world famous Bolletieri Tennis Academy and is expected to become a professional tennis player after his college education.
	Ms. Donna Butko Donna joined the Advanced Dental Cosmetic Center in 1993. She owns and operates Accucount Inc. and provides her accounting services to numerous professional businesses. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving and skiing. She is very active in her church and is one of the annual members of the LIVING CHRISTMAS TREE.
